Auto GeniusAI WORKING SEMINAR

Come ready.
We'll build together.

An hour with Kyle to turn your marketing question into a branded report you can check and update. We'll start with prompts and questions, make a plan, then build together. No coding experience needed.

You can prepare now. Setup and the group's responses are open. Kyle will share the password when the workshop begins to unlock the prompts, starter project, skills and sample reports.

Your AI tool and local folder

Bring a laptop and charger. Install your tool, sign in and confirm you can use a local project before you arrive. Kyle will demonstrate in the Codex desktop app. Choose the route you already feel comfortable with.

Desktop app

Use Codex desktop, or Claude Code in Claude desktop. For Claude, open the Code tab and choose a local folder. Confirm your account has access to the coding workflow.

Terminal / CLI

Codex CLI or Claude Code in your terminal works too. Follow your tool's installation guide, complete sign-in, and launch it from your workshop folder.

  1. Create an empty folder in Documents called AG Workshop.
  2. Open that folder as a local project in your chosen app, or navigate to it in your terminal.
  3. Check that the tool shows the correct folder. We'll add the starter files and build during the session.

Only have Cowork or browser chat? Tell Kyle before the session so he can help you find the right setup. The exercise uses local files and skills. We'll provide AGENTS.md and the skill bundle when the gate opens.

Your brand, ready to use

Save these somewhere easy to find on your laptop. Your app should feel like your organization.

Your reports, if you'd like

Sample reports are provided. Your own exports are optional. If access or setup gets complicated, use the samples and focus on learning the workflow. No CRM export, database or new tracking setup is needed.

Three CSVs. The same 60 days.

Pick one business and a completed 60-day date range available in both platforms. Use the exact dates for all three exports below. Keep the original downloads unchanged. If GA4 retention or export limits prevent the full range, bring what is available with its actual dates, or use the sample.

Google Ads campaign reportCampaigns, daily cost and clicks
  1. In the correct Google Ads account, open Insights and reports → Report editor. Create a custom table and select your completed 60-day date range.
  2. Add Day, Campaign, Campaign ID and Campaign type as rows, with Clicks and Cost as metrics.
  3. Review filters so campaigns with activity during the period are included, even if now paused. Check that the downloaded report covers all 60 days.
  4. Use the download icon and choose CSV. Save it as google-ads.csv.
Fields
Campaign, Campaign ID, Campaign type, Clicks, Cost
Time breakdown
Day

Keep Cost and Clicks as reported. If the Campaigns table limits daily segmentation, use Report Editor as described above. We don't need conversion-action segmentation or online transaction data.

GA4 traffic reportSessions and engaged sessions by acquisition source
  1. In the correct GA4 property, open Explore → Free form and set the same dates.
  2. Import the dimensions and metrics below, then place them in Rows and Values. Choose a flat table without comparison segments or nested rows.
  3. Check that the table includes the rows you need. Adjust Show rows as needed and review any data-quality notices.
  4. Use Export data → CSV for the selected table. Save it as ga4-traffic.csv.
Rows
Date, Session source, Session medium, Session campaign
Values
Sessions, Engaged sessions

Use the Session acquisition dimensions. Keep any sampling, thresholding or missing-data notice with the export. Check the downloaded totals against the table.

GA4 contact-event reportCounts for the three selected ASC events
  1. Create a second Free-form table in the same property, using the same dates.
  2. Add the rows and value below. Filter Event name to the exact ASC names listed here.
  3. Check the selected events and row coverage, then use Export data → CSV. Save it as ga4-events.csv.
Rows
Date, Session source, Session medium, Session campaign, Event name
Value
Event count
Event names
asc_form_submission
asc_comm_submission
asc_click_to_call

For a single filter, choose matches regex and paste this exact expression:

^(asc_form_submission|asc_comm_submission|asc_click_to_call)$

Use Event count, rather than Key events or All events. The exact filter excludes similarly named derivative events. If an event isn't implemented, note that and bring what is available. There is no need to change tracking for this workshop.

These events count contact actions. They don't establish unique leads, connected calls or sales.

Can't use GA4 Explore?A simpler export is welcome too

Open the standard Traffic acquisition report. Use Session source / medium with Sessions and Engaged sessions, then choose Share this report → Download File → Download CSV.

This may contain totals for the full period. Keep the date range with the file; you don't need to turn it into daily rows. For contact actions, use the event exploration above if available, or use the workshop sample.

Bring a short source note: the business, date range, Google Ads account and GA4 property, timezones, filters and export date. Save aggregate reporting data, not customer-level records. Your files stay on your laptop for setup; there's nothing to upload to this page.

Before you arrive

For example: “Which channel deserves a closer look?” or “Where are visitors engaging less?” Your question will shape your project. Arrive ten minutes early if you'd like help getting set up.

Kyle will share the workshop password when we start. It unlocks the starter project, instructions, five skills, prompts and sample data. We'll go through them together.
